Obama's acceptance speech, presented from a movie set "Greek Temple" is the most ill-advised and ridiculous political misstep ever made by a presidential candidate.  This "temple," from which the would-be leader is to speak, is a concept 180 degrees out of phase with the notion of the democratic election of a president of the United States of America.  It's more like the crowning of an emperor.

The first thing I have to say about "An Attack That Came Out of the Ether," published by The Washington Post on June 28th, is that at NO time was I ever contacted by this woman, Danielle Allen, from Princeton's Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS).  I spoke to two male Post reporters, who spoke to me over the phone for a period of months.  The first contact was in the fall of 2007.  They told me they were trying to track down the source of emails they considered negative to the Obamamessiah.

Allen, who is an Obama shill from Chicago and who has contributed $2,750 to Obama, obsesses about the "Muslim" Obama stories, but steers clear of Obama's relationships with communists, Marxists, socialists, terrorists, racist reverends and convicted swindlers.  The trick she attempts to use is to knock down one or two or three items so the other four thousand don't count.

The following notice appears on my website's "About" page: "I don't write this stuff -- I cherry-pick it and publish it here -- every attempt is made to provide attribution and/or links to the original source -- if you don't like the writer's viewpoint -- send them an email -- not me.  If the reader finds content that is incorrect, I will correct or delete it upon the submission of two links to an independent source with more accurate information."

And I mean just that and I do just that.  I want The Obama File to be able to withstand the type of attack that Allen attempts in this article.

It's been 68 years since either party put forward a ticket with no military experience.  Now, in 2008, at a time of war, the Democrats offer us a modern first, a national ticket with two candidates who never served a day in uniform in any capacity.

Beyond the books and speeches, how much do you really know about Barack Obama?  This video focuses on  Obama's relationship to the terrorist, Bill Ayers.  You know the Obama campaign will try to call this a "smear," but every assertion in it is factual.

Although Obama routinely denies a close relationship with the radical activist, describing him as a "neighbor," it was Bill Ayers' that funded Obama's original community organizing project in Chicago. That was in 1985.

In 1989, Barack Obama worked at Sidley Austin as a summer intern, along with Ayres' wife, the terrorist, Bernadine Dohrn, who helped bomb something like 25 targets, including the Capitol and the Pentagon, who was also employed by the firm.

In 1995, Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home. A Chicago-based blogger named Maria Warren, whose writing suggested she was to the left of Obama, recalled watching the candidate give a "standard, innocuous little talk. They were launching him," Warren wrote, "introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread."

Also, beginning in 1995, Obama, as an employee of Ayers, became the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. He served on the board for eight years until the Challenge ended in 2003. The "Challenge" raised and spent at least $110 million in an effort to bolster a "radical" (Ayers' word) reform program in the Chicago Public Schools from 1994 to 2001.

In November 1997, Ayers and Obama participated in a panel at the University of Chicago entitled "Should a child ever be called a 'super predator?'" to debate "the merits of the juvenile justice system."

In April 2002, Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama, then an Illinois State Senator, participated together at a conference entitled "Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?" sponsored by The Center for Public Intellectuals and the University of Illinois-Chicago. Ayers and Obama were two of the six members of the "Intellectuals in Times of Crisis" panel.

Obama was a Board member and a director of Ayers' Woods Fund board from 1999 to Dec. 11, 2002, according to the fund's website.

Obama and Ayers have been tight for over 20 years.

Obama's campaign has sent a letter to station managers suggesting they quash the Ayer's ad.

It has produced a really dumb response ad and then demanded that the Department of Justice investigate American Issues while pressuring television stations to reject the ad.

I can't imagine why anybody would question your patriotism, Obama?

This audio documents Obama's evolving BAIPA lies.  In it, Obama coldly claims two doctors helping a baby born alive after a botched abortion would be a burden for the aborting mother when he is arguing against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (BAIPA) at the Illinois state legislature April 2002.

According to Italy's Vanity Fair his two meter by three meter shack is decorated with football posters of the Italian football giants AC Milan and Inter, as well as a calendar showing exotic beaches of the world. (video)

Vanity Fair also noted that he had a front page newspaper picture of his famous brother -- born of the same father as him, Barack Hussein Obama, but to a different mother, named only as Jael.

He told the magazine: "I live like a recluse, no-one knows I exist."

Related:  the Evening Standard recently revealed the fact that Obama also failed to honor the pledges of assistance that he made to a school in his father's village, named in his honor, when he visited here amid great fanfare two years ago.

Also related:  according to Obama’s tax returns from 2000-2006, in all but the two most recent years reported, the Obamas gave around 1% or less of their income to charity. Their contributions increased in 2005 and 2006 to 4.7% and 6.1% respectively -- illuminating video.

Obama frequently mentions his relatives in Kenya when he needs the political relationship, but this millionaire hasn't done a damned thing to help them.  He won't go into his pocket.

But he'll tax Americans into the next century in order to send them our tax money, while he keeps his book-millions safe in a tax-exempt trust.

Obama is tight with his and loose with yours.

Jael, George's mother, is a new name.  Perhaps the mistress mentioned on the Family page.

Obama addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars

This registration document, made available on Jan. 24, 2007, by the Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta, Indonesia, shows the registration of Barack Obama under the name Barry Soetoro into the Catholic school made by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro.  The document lists Barry Soetoro as a Indonesian citizen, born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, and shows his Muslim step-father listed the boy's religion as Islam.

The Obama Campaign claims that the "Muslim" entry references the religion of the father, which is absurd.  Every other entry on the document relates to Obama.  The attributes on the document describe Obama, the child, not Lolo, the stepfather.

Eligibility?

Obama told the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois that he had never had another name.

Barack Obama is not a left candidate.  This fact has seemingly surprised a number of progressive people who are bemoaning Obama’s "shift to the center."  (Right-wingers are happy to join them, suggesting Obama is a "flip-flopper.")  It’s sad that some who seek progressive change are missing the forest for the trees.  But they will not dampen the wide and deep enthusiasm for blocking a third Bush term represented by John McCain, or for bringing Obama by a landslide into the White House with a large Democratic congressional majority.

A broad multiclass, multiracial movement is converging around Obama’s "Hope, change and unity" campaign because they see in it the thrilling opportunity to end 30 years of ultra-right rule and move our nation forward with a broadly progressive agenda.

Notably, the labor movement has stepped up its independent mobilization for this election.  It is leading an unprecedented campaign to educate and unify its ranks to elect the nation’s first African American president.  Last week, AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Richard Trumka told the Steelworkers convention that there is "no evil that’s inflicted more pain and more suffering than racism — and it’s something we in the labor movement have a special responsibility to challenge."

If Obama’s candidacy represented nothing more than the spark for this profound initiative to unite the working class and defeat the pernicious influence of racism, it would be a transformative candidacy that would advance progressive politics for the long term.

The struggle to defeat the ultra-right and turn our country on a positive path will not end with Obama’s election.  But that step will shift the ground for successful struggles going forward.

One thing is clear.  None of the people’s struggles -- from peace to universal health care to an economy that puts Main Street before Wall Street -- will advance if McCain wins in November.

Let’s keep our eyes on the prize.

Obama won't release his birth certificate and he won't release his passport.  Obama also won't release his SAT scores or his college transcripts, or his thesis, or his client list, or his Illinois senate records.  What do YOU really know about this guy?
