"Miss Negativity" was educated at Princeton and Harvard Law, held a very high paying, figurehead job, was married to a U. S. Senator who was a leading candidate for the presidency and still, she hates America.

Joan Rivers Calls Michelle Obama "Blackie O"
Radar Online is reporting Comedienne Joan Rivers revealed she once ditched a joke about Michelle Obama from her stand-up routine -- because she feared she'd be accused of racism.

Recalling the wisecrack to shock Jock Howard Stern, the comedy legend said: "We used to have Jackie O now we have Blackie O!"

Rivers wrote the quip about Obama's wife in reference to her alleged fashionable dress sense and comparing her to former First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

"I thought it was a funny complimentary joke when she first came (to the White House)," the 77-year-old comedienne told Stern.

"I think it's an adorable joke... I thought it was a compliment!"

In the interview, Stern and his sidekick Robyn Quivers laughed yet questioned whether Rivers' joke was racially-motivated.

"Where's the compliment in that?  I'm looking and looking, I'm trying to find it," Quivers asked Joan.

"They said you can't say that," Joan admitted.
Michelle Obama's Cute Parenting Tip

Zip says: Lets' see a show of hands.  Who here is planning to take parenting tips from Michelle Obama?

Michelle Obama obviously believes it is OK to lie to your kids if you think it will get them more exercise -- "especially in the black community."  Yeah we need to lie to them.  What it will do is destroy the trust that kids have in their parents.

Sounds like a bad deal for a few laps up the stairs, but, that's what the Obama's do --lie!

And of course Michelle is incapable of uttering anything without inserting race.  This woman is all about race.  Race, race, race...  It's all she knows.  It's all she sees -- 24/7/365.  It's been her focus all of her adult life.  She's occupying the White House, and America is still a racist country.

No opportunities for blacks because of their bad neighborhoods?  No sports opportunities for African Americans?  Really?  How dumb is this woman?  Hasn't she ever been to a professional basketball game?  Baseball and football have no African-Americans?  Michell, buy a clue!  She's no one to talk about no opportunities for African-Americans.  This "evil society" has bestowed nothing but opportunities on this ungrateful, hate-filled (redacted).

And John Stossel questions Michelle Obama's agenda to make us all thin.

A team of advisers to Mrs. Obama has been holding private talks over the past year with the National Restaurant Association, a trade group, in a bid to voluntarily get restaurants to adopt her goals of smaller portions and children’s meals that include healthy offerings.  But, how voluntary is Michelle's campaign, really?  What befalls a firm that opts out of any scheme adopted by their competitors in league with the administration?

Even if it truly is and remains voluntary, the entire thing reeks of the queen of the manor protecting the poor nitwits out in the fields from their own ignorance and low-class passions.

The Obamas would help many more people lose weight if Barack just walked across the street and shut down the Department of Agriculture, ending its disgusting subsidies for high-fat corn syrup, meat and dairy products.

Also, the Obamas don’t practice what they preach. Check out the White House Super Bowl party menu: Bratwurst; Kielbasa; Cheeseburgers; Deep Dish Pizza; Buffalo Wings; German Potato Salad; Twice Baked Potatoes; Snyders Potato Chips and Pretzels; Chips and Dips -- Bet it was delicious.

My own take?  A person who needs to be proceeded and followed by "Wide Load" signs has no business telling the rest of us how and what to eat.
Absurdity Of The Century
Agence France-Presse is reporting that Michelle Obama tops a new poll purporting to show how warmly Americans regard their leaders, besting even her husband Barack Obama. The bride scored a chart-topping "warmth rating" of 60.1 degrees, three degrees hotter than Barack Obama, who came in fourth place in the Quinnipiac University "feeling thermometer" with 56.5 degrees.

The survey asked voters to rate leaders from 0 to 100 degrees on the "feeling thermometer" with the highest numbers reflecting the warmest feelings.

Ahhh, yes!  "Miss Warmth"

At 59.2 degrees, former president Bill Clinton came in second place on the thermometer...

[ ... snip ... ]

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who now is the Democratic leader in the Republican-controlled chamber came bottom of the poll with 32.9 degrees, below Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who ranked third from the bottom with just 38.2 degrees.

The survey taken between February 21-28 Quinnipiac University polled 1,887 registered voters, and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3 percentage points.

Will you stop believing in polls NOW?
Michelle's Is Going To Write A Book -- Wink!  Wink!
The Associated Press says there's a new author in the White House: Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama has signed with the Crown Publishing Group for a book about the garden she started on the South Lawn of the White House and the benefits of healthy eating.  The book, currently untitled, is scheduled to come out in April 2012.  Obama received no advance and will donate all proceeds to a charity or charities to be determined.

The White House said the garden has yielded more than 2,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables.

"We've gotten food out of the garden, and we can eat it and it's good," Obama said Wednesday during a brief telephone interview with The Associated Press.  "So we wanted to share the story with the rest of the nation and perhaps with the rest of the world, because we get so many questions about the garden: How did we do it?  Why did we do it?  How do I do this in my own home or community?"

The first lady, 47, has been an advocate for locally grown food and last year started an anti-obesity campaign, "Let's Move!"  According to Crown, the book will be "inspirational and instructive, and will provide ideas and resources for readers to get involved in the movement to create community, school and urban gardens, support local farmers' markets, and make small lifestyle changes to achieve big health results.

"Mrs. Obama will also share some of her family's favorite healthy recipes."

Editions will include an illustrated hardcover, an e-book and an "enhanced" multimedia e-book.

"I hope it will be a beautiful book, as well, something that everyone can take something away from," Obama said.  "Maybe if you're a local gardener yourself, you'll be drawn by the pictures of the ... garden in its various stages throughout the seasons.  If you're a kid, maybe you'll pick up the book and read along with your teachers, and look at how we've incorporated young people in our garden."

Obama is continuing a tradition of first ladies using books to address a favorite cause.  Hillary Clinton had a best-seller with "It Takes a Village," about the importance of community in raising children; and Laura Bush collaborated with daughter Jenna on a picture book about a reluctant reader, the popular "Read All About It!"  This is Michelle Obama's first book and she said she had begun working on it.  "I don't know why I'm not really nervous about it.  Maybe I don't know enough to be nervous yet," she said.

Because of her crowded schedule, Obama plans to have help, with details still to be worked out.  Assistance might be very close by.  Hubby Barack has allegedly written two best-sellers, "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope," and is widely laughingly  regarded as among the most literary presidents.  Both books sold in the millions.

"I will definitely have him be involved and look at it," the first lady said.  "Barack is a wonderful writer and he's a wonderful writer on so many different fronts."

Crown, a division of Random House Inc., also publishes Barack Obama and the deal was negotiated by his literary representative, Washington attorney Robert Barnett.

And a ton of money was made by all -- except for the ghost writers.

If you don't think Michelle's book will be ghost-written, I dare you to try and read Michelle's thesis -- and yes, it's all about race.

First Lady Of Bling
The Daily Mail gushes about Michelle Obama dazzling in a glittering array of jewels last night as she co-hosted a dinner in honor of the Queen.

The First Lady scored a final fashion bulls-eye in a stunning black off-the-shoulder dress by all-American designer Ralph Lauren at the black-tie dinner.

Obama’s wife showed off a selection of jewels including a Tom Bins cuff and necklace.

A similar necklace sells on his website for £1,500.

Not my cup of tea, but many will be interested in the photos and narrative here . . .

How It Really Is

A Hostile Work Environment
Julie Mason and Amie Parnes are reporting that less than three years into the job, first lady Michelle Obama is on her third chief of staff and third social secretary.  She is on her second communications director, the White House chief usher recently departed, and her press secretary's last day is Friday.

On Friday afternoon, the first lady's office announced that the executive director of Obama's signature campaign to fight childhood obesity also is leaving.

The turnover, greater than under recent first ladies, underscores the pressure and high expectations of working in an operation known for its polish and discipline.  A crucial political asset to her husband and his administration, Obama has enjoyed consistently high job approval ratings because of charm, activism -- and by avoiding mistakes and controversy.

"She is, if possible, under more scrutiny than even other modern first ladies, being the first African-American first lady," said Katherine Jellison, a history professor at Ohio University who specializes in first ladies.  "She also represents a new generation, really the first post-boomer generation of first lady."

Sources familiar with the East Wing, who asked not to be named discussing internal dynamics, described the first lady's office as a challenging workplace, where grueling hours and the expectations of a formidable boss intensify the demands of managing a popular first lady's schedule, image and agenda.

"The first lady is a lovely woman, but she's tough as nails, and that can be hard for some people," said a source familiar with the office.  "She has really high expectations."

A case study of a "hostile work environment."

Pressure; high expectations; discipline; challenging workplace; grueling hours; expectations of a formidable boss; demands; managing ... schedule, image and agenda.
