WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. -- Call it Freedom of Speech. A billboard
recently
erected in Wheat Ridge compares Barack Obama to a terrorist and
questions his citizenship status.
The billboard, located at
4855 Miller Road, shows two cartoonish images of Obama wearing a
Muslim turban and reads "PRESIDENT or JIHAD?"
It also says
"BIRTH CERTIFICATE -- PROVE IT!" alluding to the questions
surrounding his birth that would disqualify him for the office of
President.
The words "WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD!"
appear on the bottom of the billboard.
"Since Fort Hood, I've
had it," car dealer
Phil West told FOX 31 News Friday. "You can't suggest
things. You can't profile. You gotta call a spade a
spade."
The Anti-Defamation League condemned the sign, as did
progressive radio host
David Sirota (AM760),
who discussed the sign and interviewed West on his program Friday
morning.
"It's out of control," Sirota said. "This
conservative hatred of Barack Obama is out of control, and this
brings together all those strands of it: the racism, the anti-Muslim
fervor. It's one thing to criticize the president on health
care, or Wall Street reform, or immigration. But this is
outrageous. And I think it's a fair question to ask why these
questions about religion and ancestry are being directed so
viciously at the first African-American President of the United
States."
While the ADL issued a statement calling the
billboard an exploitation of the Ft. Hood shootings that is
"divisive and offensive, and perpetuates hateful and harmful
stereotypes about Muslims," prominent conservatives have been silent
thus far.
"That could suggest that conservative leaders are
afraid to confront the extreme fringe of their base," Sirota said.
"Or it suggests they actually condone this message. Either
way, it's disturbing."
"I can't honestly say he's a Jihadist,
but there's a lot of things that are questionable," Walters said.
"The whole birth certificate controversy. From what I've read,
there's no proof Obama isn't a Muslim. And I don't believe
there's any racism [in the billboard]. I think that should be
a question asked to any president who -- they have some questionable
backgrounds."
Supporters of the birth certificate theory,
known as Birthers, have
demonstrated the Certification of Live
Birth produced by the state of Hawaii is counterfeit.
Sirota and the ADL have such
short memories. They are outraged that Americans have
reasonable questions about Obama's eligibility
and mysterious background,
but ignore this stuff.
Sirota contends "that conservative leaders are afraid to
confront the extreme fringe of their base" -- I have a flash for
Sirota, as more and more
people come to understand Obama's far-left agenda and mysterious
background, they question his eligibility. The "fringe" is now
composed of a huge segment of the American population -- and it is
growing.
An October 23rd item
reported that three-in-ten Americans think their current head of
state was not born in the United States, according to a poll by
Angus Reid Strategies. That's almost a third of all Americans.
Now, Goddard's Political Wire
points to a new Public Policy Polling
survey in Arkansas shows that only 45% of voters in the state
say they believe Obama was born in this country, while 31% say they
think he was not and 24% are unsure.
"Arkansas is the first
of four states where we've polled the birther issue (Virginia, North
Carolina, and Colorado were the others) and found less than half of
respondents confident that Obama is a natural born citizen. The
numbers are particularly dramatic among Republicans with 49% saying
Obama was not born here to just 23% who grant that he was."
And it's Obama's own actions that have caused many Americans to
have these questions. FReeper TigersEye
lists just a few:
• Trying to curb criticism of Nidal Malik Hasan (mmmm mmmm
mmmm) • Staunchly refusing to call the Ft. Hood
massacre a terrorist act • Scheduling a civilian trial
of KSM in NYC • The "reach around for a Muslim" Cairo
speech • Bowing to a Saudi King • Millions of
dollars to Hamas so they can pay big bucks for kidnapping
Israeli soldiers • Ordering the Israelis to stop
building settlements • Inability to make a decision on
Afghanistan • Closing GITMO • Moving
terrorists to Illinois • Calling the U.S. a "Muslim
country" while in Europe • Hiring several devout
Muslims with ties to radical Muslims for security posts •
Establishing back channel ties with the Taliban
What Nationality Is Barack Obama?
Fort Liberty blog
says One of the biggest issues Obama has had to deal with isn’t some
foreign policy problem. Nor is it the health care debate.
Nor is it the huge debt. While these are all issues that need to
be dealt with, they aren’t the biggest ones. Much to the anger of
many people, the biggest issue that Obama has to deal with is whether he
is an American citizen. In other words, people want to know
whether he is actually eligible to be the President of the United
States. This is a debate that has infuriated people on both sides
-- some think it’s stupid, others think it’s true.
But, this
isn’t an article on how his birth certificate might be real or might be
fake. There are millions of those already on the Internet.
This is an article that touches on the poor public relations Obama and
his team have done when trying to deal with the situation. In
other words, they have created a public relations disaster rather than
create an opportunity. And, this is an article that sums up that
the question of what nationality Obama might be is impossible to answer.
In public relations, when something bad happens to a company, you
can react in two ways. Go head on into it, accept blame and get
the job done or you can try and skirt around the issue and try to save
time and money. The latter never seems to work because someone
always demands some sort of an explanation. Obama, much to my own
curiosity, has decided to try and skirt the issue and spend millions of
dollars to prevent people from seeing
his hidden information.
He has created this mess for himself. The first mess is with
the birth certificate which he has refused to show people. Yeah,
he showed the copy, but what about the
original? He has refused to show it. Why? Then his
school records. Why won’t he release them? If he released
them, it would show he was born in America. Yet, he refuses to
release them. Finally, his financial aid records. He refuses
to release them. Why? Every time something comes up, he says
no.
But, this has created another problem on top of the horrible
public relations side of things. Try determining what nationality
Obama is. He was born in Hawaii according to the birth certificate
he showed in 2007 and the newspaper clipping says he was born in Hawaii.
But, then he went to Kenya after birth. Or was it before birth?
Then he went to an Indonesian grammar school as a "Muslim." Then
he went back to America and went to some very rich colleges.
What
nationality is he? He could be America; he could be Kenyan; he
could be Indonesian. He could be, he could be, he could be.
And instead of just stopping all of the discussion and just
demonstrating that he is, in fact, an American citizen, he has made it a
question that is impossible to answer. By creating this mess,
Obama has effectively, whether directly or indirectly, created a
monster.
Obama is going to deal with a lot of issues in the next
two years and, if re-elected, his four years after that. But, if
he doesn’t get rid of this issue now with a simple release of the
documents -- would be nice Mr. Transparency -- then he will continue to
deal with this until he leaves office in 2012 or 2016.
Rather
than continue dealing with this very stupid situation, just release the
documents and let’s get on our way. You brought this problem upon
yourself and now it’s time to finish it so that the
Birthers can figure out something
else to hate you for. One issue at a time; let’s finish this one
up.
Again, the writer
confuses the issue as one of citizenship/nationality, when it's one of
eligibility. Obama could have been born in the Rotunda of the
Capital. He would still be ineligible because his father was a
citizen of Kenya and a British subject -- as was Obama.
Jake Tapper Asks Axelrod About Obama's Long
Form Birth Certificate
The following exchange occurred during a Jake
Tapper interview of David Axelrod. The subject of the interview was
Axelrod's unsubstantiated charges that the U. S. Chamber of Commerce is
funding their political ads with foreign money. During the
interview, Tapper compared the issue of Obama's long form birth
certificate to Axelrod's allegations.
TAPPER: But what do you say to people
who argue you are demonizing an organization for a charge that
nobody knows if it's true or not?
AXELROD: Well I’m not
demonizing the Chamber of Commerce. I’m simply suggesting to
them that they disclose the source of the $75 million that they are
spending in campaigns and put to rest, put to rest the questions
that have been, that have been raised.
TAPPER: Isn't
that like the whackjobs that tell the president he needs to show
them his full long-form birth certificate so he can put to rest the
questions that have been raised?
AXELROD: The
president’s birth certificate has been available to people.
TAPPER: The long form?
AXELROD: Someone once in
the course of this debate about whether we should have a law to
force these organizations to disclose where they’re money is coming
from in the campaigns, someone said, and I think they’re right --
"the only people who want to keep things secret are folks who have
something to hide." If the Chamber doesn’t have anything to
hide about these contributions, and I take them at their word that
they don’t, then why not disclose? Why not let people see
where their money is coming from?
Les Kinsolving once
asked Robert
Gibbels,
about Obama's long-form birth certificate, but this appears to be the first
time the question has been raised by a senior White House
correspondent..
There it is, in Axelrod's own
words -- "the only people who want to keep things secret are folks who
have something to hide."
You mean like Barack Obama, David?
And let's just edit Axelrod's following comment a bit:
"If the Chamber Barack Obama doesn’t
have anything to hide about these contributions his long-form birth certificate, and I take them him at
their his word that they don’t he doesn't, then why not disclose? Why not let
people see where their money is coming from Obama's REAL birth certificate?"
There's no standard like a double standard.
Another Big Talker Says: Release Birth
Certificate
Bob Unruh
says one of talk radio's first
ladies, Laura Ingraham, believes Barack Obama was born in the United
States and serve legitimately, but she suggests it wouldn't hurt him to
release his original long-form birth certificate.
That would be
among the documents, she said, that should be available to the American
public about Obama, arguably the most powerful man in the world.
She specifically cited Obama's college records as among the
documents still concealed by him and wondered about his time at
Occidental College.
"In the interest of full disclosure, sir,
could we please have those records?" she asked.
A minute later,
she added, "And of course, you know, all of you are thinking 'Laura when
are you going to say long-form birth certificate.' Well, long-form …"
Her remarks are on YouTube, with the birth certificate reference
about 5:20 into the recording.
The focal point of Ingraham's
commentary was Obama's lack of transparency, an issue he boasted would
be a hallmark of his administration.
A spokesman for Ingraham's
show said the commentary was describing the hypocrisy of the Obama
administration.
"[White House press secretary] Robert Gibbs'
insisted that certain organizations should release the names of their
donors in the 'spirit of disclosure.' We made the point on the
show that there are a lot of things the White House could release
voluntarily in order to put to rest some of the gaps in the public's
knowledge, including Obama's college records and papers and the complete
White House visitors list.
"The non-release of the president's
long-form birth certificate is another example of the White House not
engaging in the spirit of disclosure they desire to force on their
political enemies. We included it in our list of examples despite
the fact that making it public is unnecessary and irrelevant.
Obama was born in the United States and is a legitimate president," the
spokesman said.
He noted the point also was made in the past
week by ABC's Jake Tapper.
Saturday Night Live Goes Birther
Matt DeLong
says "Saturday Night Live" opened
with a 4-minute skit poking fun at Obama's unpopularity with some Democrats on the campaign trail. In the sketch,
Obama (played by Fred Armisen) stumps at a rally for Senate Majority
Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in Las Vegas. Reid (played by Paul Brittain)
informs Obama that he needs to put some distance between the two and
proceeds to give a speech calling on Obama to release his birth
certificate.
"I don't understand why, if you were born in this country, you
won't just show us your birth certificate," Reid tells the crowd. "I
mean is that too much to ask?"
"You're right," Obama responds, "I
probably should!"
The
skit may seem silly, but it raises one of the eligibility questions in
front of an audience not usually exposed to Birther issues.
Some of those people watching will ask themselves, yeah! Why won't
the guy release his birth certificate? What's he hiding?
Jerome Corsi
says a congressional document
posted on the Internet confirms no one -- not Congress, not the
states, nor election officials -- bothered to check Barack Obama's
eligibility to be president, and that status remains undocumented to
this day.
It's because state and federal law did not require
anyone in Congress or elsewhere to check to see if Obama was a "natural
born Citizen" under the meaning of Article 2, Section 1 of the
Constitution, according the document.
The analysis by the
Congressional Research Service (CRS), a research arm of the U.S.
Congress, openly admits no one in the federal government, including
Congress, ever asked to see Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth
certificate. It explains no one was required to do so.
Technically, the CRS is a public policy research arm of the United
States Congress that is organized as a legislative branch agency within
the Library of Congress; the CRS works exclusively for members of
Congress, congressional committees and congressional staff in an
advisory capacity, answering questions.
The CRS memorandum,
published and distributed to congressional offices April 3, 2009, was
written to explain to senators and member of the House how they could
answer constituents who were demanding to see Obama's birth certificate.
Authored by Jack Maskell, the legislative attorney in the
American Law Division of the CRS, the
document was a memorandum written for the subject "Qualifications for
the Office of President of the United States and Legal Challenges to the
Eligibility of a Candidate." Maskell explained he wrote it only
for distribution to congressional offices, not for public distribution,
and it was not posted on any of the CRS report sites where the public
might have been able to find it.
The CRS begins the memo by
stating the problem:
"Many of the inquiries have questioned why
then-Senator, and now President, Obama has not had to produce an
original, so-called 'long' version of a 'birth certificate' from the
State of Hawaii, how federal candidates are 'vetted' for
qualifications generally, and have asked for an assessment of the
various allegations and claims of non-eligibility status."
In other words, senators and members of the House
could not explain why nobody ever saw Obama's long-form,
hospital-generated birth certificate, and they needed a ready answer to
give angry constituents who were writing, faxing and telephoning their
offices for an answer.
The second full paragraph of the
CRS memo must be read in its entirety to understand fully the
circumstance that allowed a candidate for whom documentation was
concealed from the public to be elected and sworn in as president.
It states:
"Concerning the production or release of an
original birth certificate, it should be noted that there is no
federal law, regulation, rule, guideline, or requirement that a
candidate for federal office produce his or her original birth
certificate, or a certified copy of the record of live birth, to any
official of the United States government; nor is there a requirement
for federal candidates to publicly release such personal record or
documentation. Furthermore, there is no specific federal
agency or office that 'vets' candidates for federal office as to
qualifications or eligibility prior to return."
What the CRS admits is that Obama got a pass from
Congress and the federal government as a whole on his birth
qualifications under Article 2, Section 1. Nobody in Congress or
the federal government sought to look for Obama's certified long-form,
hospital-generated birth certificate, because no law or regulation
required them to look.
After the document was written, nobody in
Congress could claim that Congress or anyone else in the federal
government had reviewed Obama's birth certificate or determined Obama
was eligible to be president. It simply did not happen.
Obama, Eligibility, And The ObamaMedia
Norton R. Nowlin
says if there was some bit of ascertainable fact contained in an
undisclosed official document that would unequivocally disqualify me
from holding some public office, state or federal to which I had been
elected, I could justly do one of two things. I could, either,
publicly own up to the disqualifying fact and step down from the office
(the just and legal thing to do), or lie and endeavor through subterfuge
to hide the fact from the public through continuous expensive judicial
litigation against those accusing me of illegally interloping into
authority and power which I had not been initially qualified to accept
and hold. This serious salient issue still hangs perilously over
the head of Barack H. Obama, as he attempts to preside over a
constitutional republic, of which many millions of voters are reasonably
dubious of the basic constitutional legality of his candidacy and
election. And the entire controversy has only to do with the
simple public disclosure of a fundamental document that any natural born
American citizen is, normally, proud to present to anyone doubting his,
or her, birth within the United States of America, that is, an original
long form birth certificate, signed by the delivering physician, or
midwife, and showing the time of birth and place of birth (hospital or
elsewhere) of that individual.
Since before his election, in
2008, Obama has fought litigation efforts of plaintiffs in several U.S.
District Courts, to the tune of more than 2 million dollars, to
judicially mandate the disclosure of his original long form Hawaiian
birth certificate. In this exclusively private endeavor to keep
from publicly disclosing his long form birth certificate, and,
apparently, all of his educational records, Obama has illicitly used
federal tax money in the form of legal services provided by the US.
Department of Justice, in addition to Democratic Party campaign
contributions used to retain the very expensive services of the DC
office of Perkins Coie Law Firm, in order to oppose the just attempts of
plaintiffs, like Alan Keyes, to force him to prove that he is a natural
born citizen of the United States. And after a little of the dense
smoke has dissipated from the legal battleground, a very simple question
remains. Why doesn’t Obama enlist the trust of the millions of the
electorate who distrust, and regard, him as an interloper, by simply
disclosing his long form birth certificate for public scrutiny?
Perhaps, the loose use of the term "misrepresentation," in regard to the
allegations and statements made by the media supporting Obama in this
constitutional controversy, has not been so subtly changed to that of
"lying" by those opposing Obama’s credibility on network television and
Internet news broadcasts. What does it actually take for a media
misrepresentation to equate a lie? Well, according to the great
late American humorist and satirist, Will Rogers, "if it quacks like a
duck and looks like a duck, don’t you dare call it a dog." If
professional television journalists know substantially that the correct
facts do not support the content of their statements on network
broadcasts, then what might be innocent misrepresentation through honest
ignorance becomes deliberate, fraudulent misrepresentation, or an
intentional lie.
In the most recent edition of the Internet’s
"World Net Daily," the Western Center for Journalism’s July 21, 2009
publication, of a report of an investigation commissioned privately by
an unnamed retired CIA officer in December 2008, was republished for
public benefit. In this report, as I read it, the most disturbing
two facts which emerged from its words were, (1), that the many American
voters who regularly watch CNN were probably duped by the assertion
(lie?) of television journalist Katy Pilgrim, when she stated, on July
17, 2009, that "the Obama campaign had produced "the original birth
certificate" on the internet and that FactCheck.org had examined the
original birth certificate." The (2nd) disturbing fact was the
February 23, 2009 assertion (lie?) of Jonathan Alter, MSNBC Political
Analyst, in response to the question by MSNBC’s "Countdown" host, Keith
Olberman, of "But as long as you feed that community that is looking for
some excuse to question the legitimacy of a presidency, have you not-to
some degree-done your job? I mean, has Alan Keyes not -- to some
degree -- done his job in this?" Alter’s response was, "Well, you
know, I don’t really think so, because I think it’s just sort of makes
him and the other Clinton critic -- the other Obama critics look
ridiculous. And so, that doesn’t really, you know, help their
cause in the debate. They are a party that is out of ideas, so
they have to resort to these lies, you know, about the fact that he is
not a citizen (misdirection).
You know, this came up during the campaign, Keith, and the Obama
campaign actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital
online."
Were the millions of American citizens who religiously
watch CNN as their valid, truthful news source falsely told, on February
23 and July 17, 2009, that Obama’s original long form birth certificate
was published on the Internet by an unnamed Hawaiian hospital? If
so, it was much more than negligent misrepresentation, because those
individuals making the statements, news professionals, knew beyond a
reasonable doubt that they were not stating the truth. The only
type of Obama birth certification that has, to date, been published on
the Internet, by Obama’s own wishes, has been that silly green thing
called a Certification of Live Birth, that would not be
suitable, as a birth certificate, to obtain an official identification
card from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The mainstream electronic
media, allied with the U.S. Executive Branch and the Speaker of the
House and the Senate Majority Leader, are currently urging, if not
demanding, that every American voter quietly accept, without
authoritative proof, that Barack H. Obama is a natural born citizen of
the United States. In the name of all that’s holy, I cannot, and
will not, do such a thing, and I hope that the bulk of the American
electorate will follow suit. Perhaps the mid-term congressional
elections will serve to remove from Congress the incumbent legislators
who don’t support constitutional government. Without a legislative
majority, the Obama administration and its unconstitutional policies
will fade into obscurity with no chance of regaining a momentum and the
confidence of the American republic.
Ike Had Nothing To Hide
The Sonora News
is reporting that Glen Fairclough, a reader from Salt Lake City,
Utah, sent us an e-mail last week to express his gratitude for
publishing the recent article regarding Obama’s birth certificate.
And, while going through digital images online of his hometown
newspaper, the Deseret News and Telegram, Fairclough forwarded us a
United Press wire article from the Oct. 2, 1952 edition he thought we
would find interesting.
The article appeared on page 6A with a
dateline of Sherman, Texas. It was headlined: "General’s birth
certificate officially filed," and stated:
"A certificate recording Dwight Eisenhower’s birth in Denison on Oct. 14,
1890, was filed Wednesday [Oct. 1, 1952] in the Grayson County
Clerk’s office."
"Nobody had bothered to make out a
certificate when the Republican presidential candidate was born in a
house at the corner of Lamar and Day streets in nearby Denison."
"A copy of the certificate filed Wednesday was mailed to Mrs.
Eisenhower in Denver. Eisenhower’s older brother, Arthur,
signed the certificate. It was also signed by the Grayson
County Judge J.N. Dickson and recorded by County Clerk J.C.
Buchanan."
Since he was called Dwight
while growing up, Eisenhower swapped his first and middle names when he
enrolled at West Point Military Academy.
Elected 34th president
of the United States in November 1952, Eisenhower made it through his
first 62 years without any need for a birth certificate.
However, the need arose when he became a presidential candidate. Since
Eisenhower was the oldest man to be elected president since James
Buchanan over 100 years earlier, age was obviously not at issue.
Instead, there was protocol in place for presidential candidates to
provide proof of eligibility to appear on the ballot.
While
it’s difficult not to notice history’s propensity toward repeating
itself, Fairclough asserted, "Ike had nothing to hide!"
Ike's parents, David Jacob Eisenhower, born in
Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, and Ida Elizabeth (Stover) Eisenhower, born
in Mount Sidney, Virginia were BOTH American citizens. Dwight
David Eisenhower was born in Denison, Texas.
Two American citizen
parents and born in the USA -- General Dwight D. Eisenhower was a
"natural born" citizen and eligible to serve as Commander in Chief --
unlike Obama.
Not to mention Ike led the Allied forces in
defeating the greatest war machine in history. The biggest thing
Obama led was an ACORN protest march.
The big question, of course
is what happened to the protocol for presidential candidates to provide
proof of eligibility to appear on the ballot?
An Impostor In White House
Radio host Rush Limbaugh is again
calling into question the
constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as president,
declaring him to be a phony. Yesterday, Limbaugh said.
"We have an impostor for all intents and purposes serving in the
White House."
The comment from the top-rated host came during his
analysis of the disclosure that Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour, a
purported representative of the Taliban negotiating with the Afghan
government, actually turned out to be an impersonator.
Limbaugh said: "The impostor got into the equivalent of the White
House in Afghanistan. Did they not ask this guy for some kind
of identification? They clearly didn't. They clearly
didn't ask this guy for his birth certificate. How in the
world could they trust in a leader and even give money to somebody
who has not been properly vetted? Well, because it happened
here in the United States. We have an impostor for all intents
and purposes serving in the White House."
He added, "Do you
realize that if this Taliban leader had tried to buy antihistamines
from ... any kind of drug store, he would have had to produce a
photo ID -- not to vote, and not to be president -- but to buy
antihistamines."
Outfielder Questions Obama’s Birthplace
CBS
is reporting that Baltimore Orioles outfielder Luke Scott wasn’t
only talking baseball at the winter meetings on Tuesday. He
questioned Barack Obama’s birthplace and claimed he did not represent
the United States.
"Obama does not represent America. Nor
does he represent anything that our forefathers stood for," Scott said
in an interview with David Brown of Yahoo’s Big League Stew.
The
32-year-old went on to say Obama has no legal documentation.
"He was not born here. That’s my
belief. I was born here," Scott said. "If someone
accuses me of not being born here, I can go -- within 10 minutes --
to my filing cabinet and I can pick up my real birth certificate and
I can go, 'See? Look! Here it is. Here it is.'
The man has dodged everything. He dodges questions, he doesn’t
answer anything. And why? Because he’s hiding
something."
And, if you cursor down
this page there's the complete interview. Scott continues . .
.
Obama ... hmm ... Obama does not represent
America. Nor does he represent anything what our forefathers
stood for. This country is basically built on an attitude.
It's a way of life. It's not because you're born here.
It's not that you're supposed to take from those who have and give
to those who haven't. That kills a country. It killed
Russia.
I have friends of mine who are in the ministry who
[work] in churches in Russia. If they can describe [the
country] in one [phrase], it's "messed up beyond repair."
That's what communism does. Cuba, Venezuela. People are
trying to escape these lands like a plague. What would make a
human being swim 90 miles in shark-infested waters on a raft made of
tires and planks? To leave their culture, their family, their
language, their way of life. Everything they've ever known.
What would make someone do that?
You don't see people in
America doing that. There's no one here in America swimming
the Pacific Ocean -- or the Atlantic, or the Caribbean -- to leave
this place. The reason why is because of the freedom.
Freedom for a man to mark out his own destiny. It's not, "Hey,
you have so much." Hey, that person worked for that.
That's not to be taken and given to someone who didn't put in the
time, the effort, and do his part.
Obama, he doesn't
represent that. He represents, "Hey, everyone. Give me
votes and I'll give you stuff." And there's even people on TV
who [are asked], "Hey, who you voting for?"
"I'm voting for
Obama."
"Why?"
"So I can get more free stuff."
The Baltimore Orioles put some distance
between themselves and the comments slugger Luke Scott (notes) made
Tuesday about the birthplace of Barack Obama (and his job performance)
in Answer Man Q&A.
Statement from Greg Bader, Orioles Director of Communications:
"Luke Scott's comments do not reflect the
opinion of the Baltimore Orioles organization. The fact is
that Barack Obama is our President, duly elected by the people of
the United States. End of story."
Barack Hussein Obama
claims to have been born on the island of Oahu in Hawaii on Aug 4th,
1961. This claim is backed up by one and only one document [in
three versions], and not one these has been proven to be a valid and
authentic document. Just because it was initially excepted, does
not mean it is real or factual.
More to the point, until Barack
Hussein Obama was campaigning for the presidency his place of birth was
not an issue. The Constitutional requirements for the presidency
are clearly laid out in in the United states Constitution Art. 2 sec. 5.
as it has been established here that a "natural born" citizen is a
person born to Citizen
parent(s) at the minimal standards, but also born in country.
So if being born in the United states is all that is required for
eligibility for the the presidency, Barack Hussein Obama should have no
issue releasing a long form birth certificate, allegedly issued from the
State of Hawaii. Correct? A long form birth certificate
contains all the recorded vital statistics at the moment of birth, the
doctor, the witnesses, the weight, siblings (if any), parents, their
occupations and other statistics.
So the question is, "when did
Kenya become Hawaii?" Because until the campaign, all newspaper
articles that referred to Barack Hussein Obama reported him as
"Kenyan-Born."
This report, from the AP, an extremely Obama-friendly organization,
was published during Obama's campaign for Illinois State Senator.
Alan Keyes, Obama's opponent, faulted Obama for not being a "natural
born citizen." Obama quickly retorted:
"So what? I am running for Illinois
Senator, not the presidency."
And don't forget that before Barack Hussein Obama
was a presidential candidate, much of the news media, and other sources,
referred to Obama as "Kenyan-Born."
Obama's step-grandmother, Mama
Sarah, has twice said Obama was born in Kenya, as did his wife Michelle,
who also made two references to Kenya as his birthplace.
Five
Kenyan authorities have described Kenya as Obama's birthplace.
Hell, even the uber-liberal National Public Radio (NPR) reported Obama's
birthplace was Kenya.
Now, this doesn't mean that Obama was definitely born in Kenya, but
it does raise the Kenyan birth as a legitimate question. Are all
of these sources wrong?
There's only one way to put all of this
to rest. Obama must release his original, long-form birth certificate.
As long as he continues to stone-wall, the issue will have life.
"Except Obama"
Politico
is reporting that a woman was arrested in the House gallery
Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling
out her belief that Barack Obama is not a "natural born" citizen of
the United States.
When Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) read the
part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born
citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the
public gallery, screamed:
"Except Obama! Except Obama!
Help us Jesus."
An officer removed her from the gallery as she
yelled out, "My name is Theresa."
"You're under arrest," the
officer could be heard telling her as he led her through double
doors at the back of the chamber.
Capitol Police confirmed
Thursday evening that 48-year-old Theresa Cao of New York was
arrested and charged with unlawful conduct, and disruption of
Congress. She was processed and released.
Ms. Cao protesting outside
the Supreme Court Dec 5, 2008.
Cao
told WorldNetDaily that she obtained tickets for the House
gallery a day early, and was impressed by the idea that a House
speaker would be dedicated to doing "the will of the people,"
following California Rep. Nancy Pelosi's tenure at the speaker's
desk, which included forcing the ObamaCare mandate on Americans even
though a majority oppose it.
"I knew that this was truly a historic
moment in the history of America. … I heard John Boehner, the
new House speaker. It was overwhelming to understand and know
finally we have a House majority leader who will make it a
priority to do the will of the people."
She said she saw in the incoming Congress what her
own ministry, "Heaven's bailout," has been working on for several
years.
"It's all about defending God, country
and the Constitution."
"I understood that I as an American
[needed] to do my part to defend God's country and the
Constitution, that when and if America does become a nation that
is going to be really not just socialist, fascist or communist,
but really controlled by a dictator, if I, TC from DC,
personally did not do something to 'change' what was going on
for the good and to bring true 'hope,' I would have failed."
Questions For Congress
The following 12 questions for Congress come
from the summary of an exhaustive investigation of Hawaii's Election
Commission and the laws used by the state's Office of Elections to
approve or deny candidates for inclusion on presidential ballots.
It raises shocking revelations about the power held by too few
unaccountable people. The evidence shows that agents, working
within the jurisdiction of Hawaii state law, opened shadowy legal channels
enabling Obama an opportunity to usurp presidential power and assault
the Constitutional sovereignty of the American people.
Question
1: Why, after including the legally required language for previous
Democratic candidates in elections past, did chairperson, Brian Schatz
and the Democrat Party of Hawaii,
refuse to include the legally required language upon submitting it
for the approval of that state party's 2008 Official Certification of
Nomination when they submitted it to Kevin B. Cronin and the Hawaiian
Election Commission?
Question 2: Did Kevin Cronin, Hawaiian
Chief Elections Officer in 2008, approve the placement of Barack Obama's
name on the presidential ballot for the 2008 federal election, in spite
of the fact that explicit language stating that Obama was
Constitutionally eligible to run for president was omitted from the
Official Certification of Nomination submitted by the Democrat Party of
Hawaii?
Question 3: Did Kevin Cronin, Chief Elections
Officer, in coordination with the Hawaiian Election Commission, and HRS
11-113 (1)(d), notify Barack Obama in writing, of his eligibility or
disqualification for placement on the Hawaiian presidential ballot and
what date did he provide this notification?
Question 4: If
a notice of disqualification was sent to Obama, upon receiving this
notice from the Hawaiian Elections Commission, did Barack Obama file a
request, per HRS 11-113 (1)(e), in writing to Mr. Cronin and what date
did he submit this request?
Question 5: Did Cronin
schedule Obama to a hearing and what date was this hearing scheduled?
Question 6: Where was Obama between October 20th and 24th,
2008?
Question 7: Was Obama present in Hawaii during the
time when a hearing was conducted with the Hawaiian Elections Commission
regarding his disqualification from the 2008 Hawaiian Presidential
ballot?
Question 9: Did The DNC send two separate versions of its OCON to
the Hawaiian Election Commission, and if so, why did it do this?
Question 10: What secret evidence, which was obviously not
accessible to the Democrat Party of Hawaii (the very state Obama claims
he was born in), did Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic National Committee
acquire to determine Barack Obama's legal qualifications to serve under
the provisions of the U.S. Constitution and, thereby, include such
language in its OCON?
Question 11: When it was determined
that the state and national party authorities of the Democratic Party
did not agree on the status of Barack Obama's eligibility, did the Chief
Elections Officer of Hawaii, Kevin Cronin, determine to include Obama on
the Hawaii presidential election ballot with authority provided by HRS
11-113(b).
Question 12: What documented evidence was used
by the DNC, which was not available to the Democrat Party of Hawaii, to
determine that Barack Obama was legally qualified to serve as president
under the provisions of Article II, Section I, Clause 5, of the U.S.
Constitution?
This is a
long, and highly documented piece by The Daily Pen. These guys did
their homework. I suggest you take the time to read it. I
have only glanced over it at this point, but it adds a lot of stuff to confirmed facts
that have been previously documented.
Bob Unruh says that lawsuits have claimed
Barack Obama fails the Constitution's eligibility test for presidents
because he was born British, because he may have been born overseas, and
because his original long-form birth certificate has been withheld.
Mad magazine, now, has
released its solution: His birthplace is "wherever it was he was born."
The magazine, in an article "How Barack Obama
stacks up to the other 42 presidents," also takes jabs at Obama's
dependence on teleprompters, his middle name (Hussein), his busted lip
and his onetime pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
While George
Washington's "head was carved into Mt. Rushmore, Obama's head was
sculpted into a Chia Pet," the article starts. Then, John Adams
"got lost on his way to go live in the White House. Obama
successfully reached the White House, but has been lost ever since."
It's when the list gets to Andrew Jackson the magazine explains,
"Before Jackson, there had never been a president born west of the
Appalachian Mountains. Before Obama, there had never been a
president born … wherever it was he was born."
The jab focuses
on the ongoing dispute over Obama's eligibility to be president under
the Constitution's requirement that presidents be a "natural born"
citizen.
Joseph Farrah says in Hans Christian Andersen's
"The Emperor's New Clothes," the charade is going beautifully until a
child calls out: "Look! The emperor has no clothes. He is walking
through town without a shirt or a cape. He is not even wearing
trousers."
"The child is right," whispered a few in the crowd.
Soon word spread and the truth was out. The townsfolk began
laughing and agreeing with the child. "The emperor has no
clothes!" they shouted. "The emperor has no clothes!"
And
so it's in 2011 in the USA, when suddenly, with childlike innocence and
a natural-born sense of curiosity, billionaire and would-be presidential
candidate Donald Trump shouted from a media pedestal no one could
ignore, "Look, the emperor has no birth certificate!"
Suddenly,
just as I have been predicting for two years, the Trump card has been
played that will make this scandal -- so uncomfortable for the complicit
establishment media to deal with forthrightly -- the defining issue of
the 2012 presidential election.
You might recall me saying on
national television more than a year ago, "Barack Obama will not be able
to visit any town or hamlet across the U.S. in his bid for re-election
without facing signs that ask, 'Where's the birth certificate?'"
That prediction -- hopeful back then, maybe even wishful thinking -- is
now becoming a reality.
I am now confident this scandal -- and I
use that word advisedly and repeatedly -- is the new defining reality of
the failed Obama administration. The court jesters in the media
and the political establishment will continue to dismiss it, but the
polls tell a different story.
Most Americans don't believe Obama.
Not just with regard to the economy or Libya or the other major issues
of the day, but about his own life story! That's the crux of the
matter.
That's why this issue -- this scandal -- trumps
everything else. That's why it is a winning issue. That's
why Obama can run, but he can't keep hiding his birth certificate and
every other significant document and record of his life.
Drew Zahn
says the lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate was interviewed
on the radio this morning, explaining that while he believes Barack
Obama was born in the Aloha State, he questions what might be on the
original, long-form birth certificate that would prompt Obama to go to
such lengths to conceal it.
"I'm not a 'Birther,'" Hawaii State
Sen. Sam Slom told Jeff Katz of WXKS Radio in Boston, "and I followed
this from the very beginning. At first I followed it with
amusement, and then I got really concerned about it, because the
question was if it was not just the birth certificate, but
other records as well --
school records, academic records, work records -- why would anyone
spend
millions of dollars in legal fees, particularly someone in public
office, particularly someone in the highest public office, to not make
that information public?"
As WND has reported, besides Obama's
actual birth documentation, Obama has refused to release his Punahou
school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records,
Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review
articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport,
medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator,
Illinois State Bar Association records, baptism records and his adoption
records.
There are different theories," Slom continued. "One is
that there is no birth certificate at all; I don't think that's true, I
think there is a birth certificate. The second is there may be
some very interesting information that Obama does not want released, for
example, who his father really is or what's listed on the birth
certificate.
"In any event, here is the president of the United
States," Slom said, "you've got to have [a birth certificate to
present], why don't we require that of the president?"
Recently,
potential presidential candidate Donald Trump has also questioned why
Obama has kept his records under lock and key, stating, "There's
something fishy about the whole thing," and, "There's something on that
certificate that's very bad for him."
Slom referenced Trump
after also explaining the difference between Hawaii's official,
long-form birth certificate and Obama's "Certification of Live Birth"
posted online.
"We have two forms of the birth certificate,"
Slom said. "One is the long-form, official certificate of live
birth, and that's the one that's got all the data; and then there's the
short form, and that's the one they've put up on the website … but that
doesn't go into detail, doesn't give you all the information.
"So it comes back to the same thing," he concluded. "Why would
anybody, let alone the president, spend all this money, all this time,
all this effort, not to disclose the information? And of course,
we can come up with several different possibilities, but as Donald Trump
and others have said, gee, it would be so much simpler if he just
disclosed it and we move on."
I love folks who begin a statement
with, "I am not a Birther." Of course this guy is a Birther!
More
importantly, we must remember that the information on the short-form
certification of Live Birth originates from the long-form Certificate of
Live Birth.
We know
that Gov. Abercrombie was unable to find Obama's long-form birth
certificate anywhere in Hawaii, and he had a search warrant.
So, if
Abercrombie couldn't find the long-form, where did the information on
Obama's short-form come from! Hmmmmm!
Franklin Graham On Obama
"He can solve this whole birth certificate
issue pretty quickly. I was born in a hospital in Nashville, North
Carolina and I know that my records are there, that you could
probably go and find out what room my mother was in when I was born.
I don’t know why he can’t produce that?"
Obama Story Has "Swiss Cheese Holes"
Andrew Breitbart
says "He's probably been videotaped millions of times, yet we don't
know anything about him."
Internet media star Andrew Breitbart,
who runs Breitbart.com, Breitbart.tv, BigHollywood.com,
BigGovernment.com, BigJournalism.com and other Internet websites, says
Barack Obama's own account of his life has "Swiss cheese holes" in it.
Affirming his stance that questions about Obama's eligibility to
occupy the Oval Office will not make a winning strategy and should not
be pursued by opponents, and he told radio host Hugh Hewitt that Obama
has "invited" the controversy over his qualifications by refusing to
provide basic information.
"But I really do believe Barack Obama has
huge Swiss cheese holes in his narrative, such as Columbia and at
Occidental. This guy is a very young guy. He is a very
charismatic guy. He's probably been videotaped millions of
times. And yet we don't know anything about him."
"He's invited this, and the press that hates the Birther thing and
says it's the worst thing in the world. He and the press that
didn't vet Obama have invited questions marks over his entire
history."
Hewitt said he rejects "Birtherism" completely, and
Breitbart responded:
"I have not looked at the facts because I've
said even it were true, it would be a losing battle. It would
split the country. When we for the first time ever -- as
fiscal conservatives and constitutional-minded citizens -- have a
winning argument for what we stand for. And I do not want to
divide the country. So I honestly haven't read the
information."
I used to have
respect for Hugh Hewitt, but no more.
First,
there is no such thing as "Birtherism." That term is simply a
pejorative. It is a smear on every American that believes Obama
hasn't been on the level with the American People -- a majority,
according to many of the polls
I've seen in the last year.
Secondly, adding the word "completely" qualifies his statement to mean
that there are absolutely no questions about Obama, his mythology, or
his eligibility -- and that's simply an absurd position.
It is
Obama's reluctance to identify himself -- to answer reasonable and usual
questions -- "who are you, where do you come from, and who sent you?" --
that is "splitting the country."
That's just blaming the
victims, not the perpetrator, Andrew.
Luke Scott Sounds Off On Obama’s Birth
Certificate…Again
The Baltimore Orioles' left fielder Luke Scott
is at it again. During the offseason, he was critical of Barack
Obama. Obama's long form birth certificate does not seem to have
quieted Scott down, though.
Scott, who was interviewed by Sam
Mellinger of The Kansas City Star, remains skeptical about Obama's
background. He thinks Obama’s birth certificate needs to be
checked out to confirm that it is legitimate.
"[Obama's] birth certificate has yet to be
validated," Scott said Tuesday. "If they can counterfeit $100
bills, I think it’s a million times easier to counterfeit a birth
certificate, if you ask me. So, all it is, let’s just see if
it’s real. Anybody can produce a document, so let’s check it
out."
Scott told Mellinger that it is his duty as an
American to speak his mind while taking advantage of the platform given
to him as a professional athlete.
"We all have that
responsibility as Americans," Scott said. "Whatever platform you
have, large or small, fight for what’s right. Fight for what’s
right and fight for the principles of honor, integrity, accountability,
being a person. Responsible. Hard work. Discipline.
Honesty. Things like that, try and pass those principles on to the
next generation. Be a voice for that. Maybe being a baseball
player and having a little bigger platform than the next [person], then
my responsibility should be to stand up for those principles. If I
was in construction or working in an office I should stand up for those
principles as well."
This
jock displays more sense than any "journalist" in America.
NOBODY
has ever examined Obama's alleged long-form birth certificate, but the
ObamaMedia has taken it on faith that it is the real deal. No
independent examiner has ever examined the original document.
Those that have examined the electronic image on the White House website
declare it bogus.
