Obama Says ICE Is Terrorist
Organization
Obama says that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the
largest investigative arm of the United States Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), are terrorists.
Speaking in front of the racist National Council of La Raza, Obama said,
"When communities are terrorized by ICE immigration raids, when nursing
mothers are torn from their babies, when children come home from school
to find their parents missing, when people are detained without access
to legal counsel, when all that is happening, the system just isn’t
working, and we need to change it." (video)
BY the way, this comment beautifully
illustrates the Alinsky facilitation method. Obama agitates the
crowd with emotional language and charges, and then provides the
solution to these perceived wrongs -- himself. It's what he does
all the time and it is the secret to his success.
Obama Wants To Insure Illegals
The claim made by Obama that 46 million "Americans" lack health
insurance is false because that number includes almost 10 million people
who are not "Americans" but in fact citizens of foreign countries who
happen to be present in the United States ILLEGALLY, according to data
from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The claim was made repeatedly in a
report published by the White House Council of Economic Advisers (CEA)
on June 2 and again in an op-ed published the same day by Christina
Romer, the chair of CEA.
The claim that there are 46 million
uninsured "Americans" has also been used by members of Congress and news
organizations.
At a townhall meeting in Green Bay, Wis., last
Thursday, President Obama twice referred to "46 million" people who lack
health insurance, although in neither case did he describe those "46
million" as "Americans" -- in one instance referring to them as "46
million people who don't have health insurance" and in another instance
as "46 million uninsured."
On June 2, the White House released
"The Economic Case for Health Care Reform," a report by the president's
Council of Economic Advisers. In making the case for Obama's
health-care reform plan, this report repeatedly asserted that there are
46 million uninsured "Americans."
Obama wants
you to give up your insurance plan so he can insure criminals. He
wants those 10,000,000 voters too -- Democratic Party control
forever.
That's the reason that Rep. José Serrano [D NY] filed,
in the current session of the U. S. Congresss,
H.J.Res. 5.
Serrano's resolution is a Constitutional amendment to remove the
limit on the number of terms one may serve as President. It
effectively would repeal the 22nd Amendment, which was approved by
Congress in 1947 and ratified by the states in 1951. Several
Democratic Party members of Congress have introduced similar
legislation.
A Promise Not Kept
Fox News
is reportingthat yesterday
in El Paso, Obama said:
"They wanted more agents on the border.
Well, we now have more boots on the ground on the southwest border
than at any time in our history. The Border Patrol has 20,000
agents -- more than twice as many as there were in 2004, a build up
that began under President Bush and that we have continued.
They wanted a fence. Well, that fence is now basically
complete."
Five years ago, legislation
was passed to build a 700-mile double-layer border fence along the
southwest border. This is a promise that has not been kept.
Today, according to staff at
the Department of Homeland Security, just 5 percent of the double-layer
fencing is complete, only 36.3 miles.
The Government Accountability
Office (GAO), Congress's investigative arm, reported in early 2009 that
only 32 miles of double-layer fencing had been built. That means
under Obama, only 4.3 miles of double layer fencing has been built.
This is woefully inadequate.
Seriously!

Confusing Illegal Aliens With Legal
Immigrants
Obama omitted any mention
of the negative consequences of illegal immigration while intentionally
confusing illegal aliens with legal immigrants as he pushed for Amnesty
in El Paso this week.
"Our immigration system is not broken; it has been
sabotaged by politicians like Obama who refuse to honor existing federal
laws, the US Constitution, and their oath of office," said William Gheen,
President of ALIPAC. "If that is what Obama refers to as 'ugly
rhetoric' then so be it."
In Obama’s 30 minute speech supporting
Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty (CIRA), he completely refused
to acknowledge any of the negative impacts on Americans from illegal
immigration. His speech glorified past waves of legal immigration
and the accomplishments of legal immigrants in his efforts to confuse
listeners about his Amnesty plans.
"Obama shows us in this speech
that he cannot be trusted and that he is clearly aligned with those who
are invading the United States, and he represents their interests over
the Americans he swore to serve by honoring the Constitution," said
Gheen. "His claim that the border is secure is a lie and should be
considered another act of treason. The border is not secured and
Americans are dying and losing their jobs and homes over his failure to
protect all states from invasion as the Constitution demands."
While Obama extols the number
of Border Patrol agents, he fails to acknowledge that agents are ordered
to only catch and release most illegal aliens or to simply return
illegals to Mexico to reenter the next night.
Obama claims "the fence is
complete" which is an incredible lie.
Democrats in Congress and the
Senate have recently filed the Dream Act Amnesty bill once again,
despite the fact that it has been defeated six times and that numerous
certified and scientific polls show 2 to 1 opposition to such
legislation among American citizens.
In his speech, Obama does cite
his support for Amnesty for illegal aliens and billionaire aristocrats
such as Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News.
"If Obama and the Democrats
succeed by working with RINO Republicans to pass any form of Amnesty and
illegal aliens become legal voters, then there will be no reasonable
hope for future borders or immigration enforcement in America," said
Gheen. "Nothing in Obama’s speech addresses this concern. It
is his intention to overthrow the influence of more than 12 million
American voters who will be dispossessed of a nation if CIRA passes."
Americans for Legal
Immigration PAC is gearing up to meet and defeat Obama’s push for
Amnesty once again. The organization has played a central role in
defeating Amnesty legislation on many occasions. For more

Are the borders really secure?
Bob Dane
says that the question, "Are the borders really secure?" is probably
not the best set-up for the next Geico commercial. No, they’re
really not secure.
Obama would have us believe otherwise. His
immigration speech in El Paso, Texas, bordered as much on deception as
it did physically with Mexico, just over the Rio Grande. Obama did
his best to convince Americans that our borders are secure and that
interior enforcement is up in order to justify amnesty for illegal
aliens to appease his special interests supporters and stoke his voting
base.
The problem is that when given close scrutiny,
Obama’s claims range from minor omissions to major whoppers. Here
are four Obama immigration claims that just aren't true:
1. "We are deporting
those who are here illegally"
Obama is suggesting that
deportations are up. Not so fast.
The number of deportations in
2009 and 2010 is higher under the Obama administration than at any other
time, but it’s not because of increased enforcement. The higher
numbers reflect many removal cases that were already in the pipeline,
leftovers from Bush-era enforcement. Once those removals are
complete, one wonders how the deportation numbers can possibly be
sustained since few new removal cases are being initiated because large
numbers of non-criminal illegal alien cases are being dismissed by
executive fiat. Deportations have, in fact, already declined
slightly from 2009 to 2010.
Ultimately, Obama should be deporting illegal
aliens and not expect a gold star for simply enforcing the law, nor
using basic immigration enforcement as a bargaining chip for amnesty.
Even at a rate of 400,000 removals per year it would still take the
federal government 30 years to remove the 12 million illegal aliens
currently living in the U.S. (The
real number exceeds 23 million)
2. "We’ve increased the
removal of criminals by 70 percent"
True, but with a major catch.
More criminal aliens -- illegal aliens who commit violent felonies --
are indeed being deported but it is to the exclusion of almost all other
illegal aliens!
Think of two similarly sized pie charts, each
representing overall deportations. One is 2009, the other is 2010.
The 2010 pie is about the same size but is sliced much differently
because DHS deported more criminal aliens in 2010. This is the
basis of the deception. O bama is taking credit for increasing the
percentage of criminal aliens removed, hoping we don’t notice that most
other illegal aliens are just being ignored. Thus, the Obama
Administration is gradually accomplishing an "administrative amnesty"
while simultaneously convincing Americans that enforcement has
increased.
Criminal-aliens-only immigration enforcement was
never the intent of Congress. Laws regarding removal apply to all
illegal aliens, irrespective of whether they have committed additional
crimes. By selectively choosing classes of people to which the
laws apply, the administration is ignoring federal law and conferring
upon itself the power to act as it sees fit and as it suits the
political whims of Obama.
3. "The fence is now basically complete"
The fence has basically hit a
wall and has for a long time. There are only 32 miles of the
recommended double layer fence built and only 649 miles of single layer
fence on a border that’s 2,000 miles long. DHS’s own estimates
show that less than half of the southern border is under operational
control. And entirely lost in the discussion is the Canadian
border and U.S. coastlines, unsecured areas that mounting terrorist
threats can, and will exploit.
4. "We’re going after
employers who knowingly exploit people and break the law."
Worksite raids have been
abolished and replaced with paper audits that impose modest fines that
employers simply roll into the cost of doing business. Employers
are given a slap on the wrist and illegal alien employees are simply
released.
During a
January 2011 hearing of the House Committee on the Judiciary,
Subcommittee on Immigration, Rep. Lamar Smith (R- Tex.) reported that,
"in the area of worksite enforcement, arrests have fallen 77%; criminal
arrests are down 60%, indictments are now 64% and convictions have
fallen by 68% since 2008."
The media made much of
President George W. Bush’s ill-fated 2003 "Mission Accomplished" speech
on the USS Abraham Lincoln in which he prematurely proclaimed "an end to
major combat operations in Iraq."
Obama’s similar proclamation
that our borders are now secure and immigration enforcement has
increased deserves no less attention, particularly since the next stage
of planned operations is amnesty.

Immigration Court Stats
Jim Kouri is reporting
that watchdogs say Obama and Holder are lying about immigration court
statistics.
Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and the
U.S. Department of Justice knowingly distort figures to hide from
federal lawmakers, state political leaders, and the American people the
rampant corruption in this nation's immigration court system, according
to a Beltway watchdog group.
The suspected pervasive
corruption allows deportable aliens to evade hearings without
consequences and permits more than 1 million removal orders to be
ignored by the Obama Administration, say officials with Judicial Watch,
a public-interest group that investigates public and political
corruption.
Adding insult to injury, U.S. taxpayers finance
the enormous number of court appeals filed by illegal immigrants --
through their taxpayer financed legal counsel deported -- for criminal
convictions and fraudulent marriages.
From 2000 to 2007, Americans
doled out $30 million for aliens' court costs, according to a new report
from a former immigration court judge -- Mark H. Metcalf -- in south
Florida, considered a hotbed within the immigration system.
The
veteran jurist says the nation's immigration courts, which are operated
by the DOJ, are ruled by deception and disorder and are at the heart of
a system that nurtures scandal. About 250 overwhelmed judges
preside over hundreds of thousands of cases annually and rarely are
their deportation orders enforced, according to Judicial Watch.
Even after
the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, 50% of all aliens who were
free pending trial disappeared, according to figures provided in the
judge's report. Between 2005 and 2006 the number of aliens who
failed to appear at their court hearing grew to 59%.
The
Government Accountability Office's report on visa holders states that up
to four million aliens remain in the country illegally once their visas
expire.
Further, officials at Judicial watch revealed that
the DOJ deceptively reported the figure as "only" 39% by combining
aliens who were free pending trial with those in custody who were forced
by authorities to appear in court. That allowed the so-called
bail-jumpers to appear as a smaller part of a bigger overall figure.
FoxNews.com reports that nearly two years after he infamously
accused Barack Obama of lying about his health care overhaul, Republican
Rep. Joe Wilson claims he was right all along.
The South
Carolina congressman was pilloried in 2009 for shouting, "You lie!" at
Obama in the middle of a national address after Obama claimed the health
care bill would not cover illegal immigrants.
But Wilson is
claiming some vindication after the Health and Human Services Department
awarded millions to "migrant and seasonal farm worker" health care -- a
spokeswoman in the department was cited last week saying patients would
not be asked about immigration status and an department official
confirmed Monday that the centers receiving the grant money must offer
primary care to "all residents" in a given area.
Wilson, on his
campaign website, declared the funding announcement proved him right.
Though most farm workers are here legally, the Pew Hispanic Center
estimates that about a quarter of them are undocumented -- a metaphor
for illegal.
"It is inevitable that they will serve illegal
aliens," Wilson said. "The president specifically promised the American
people that 'Obamacare' would not cover those who are here illegally. He
misled all of us."
