The Marxist Template
A Flopping Aces' poster
says the true revolutionary is willing to sacrifice everything for
an idea: the men who signed The Declaration of Independence knew that
they were possibly sacrificing their wealth, their property, their very
lives and those of their families if the bold gamble ended in failure.
Signing the Declaration was an exercise in faith, for there were many
brilliant minds that would debate the format for the Constitution; yet
their signatures on that sacred document was a summary death sentence by
hanging if an English Officer found a signor. If the war had been
lost they would have all been hanged. These were revolutionaries
with dignity and honor; instead of offering Wealth Redistribution (the
theft of one man’s wealth to give to others), they offered Freedom.
There were no guarantees, only opportunity; mysterious concepts that
were unique to the rugged individualists of the American frontier.
The opportunity to succeed or fail appealed to Americans with initiative
and a work ethic: the concept is an anathema to the indigent and lazy
who feel entitled because of the designation of victim, bestowed on them
by our Progressive Socialists.
In the on going movement of
Progressive Socialist Revolution, the ultimate goal is World Socialism.
A world where all the world’s wealth is supposedly shared equally by the
workers and decisions are carried out by a group of omnipotent Elite
henchmen who can control huge masses of people with the ruthlessness of
a Mao or Stalin type figure.
The Russian Revolution had its
visionaries, initially there were two basic groups, the Mensheviks and
the Bolsheviks; the early Russian Marxists promised freedom, justice,
happiness, and equality. The Bolsheviks, led by Lenin and Trotsky
among others, gained control and devolved into a concentration of power
or dictatorship, rather than the Social Democracy later espoused by the
Mensheviks.
Eventually, as the Revolution progressed, the
Proletariat was expected to accept the loss of Freedom of the Press
along with the concept of self as being necessary to advance the
Revolution. Lenin and Trotsky’s despotism was intended to silence
the voices of opposition, starvation, being worked to death, and murder
would be inflicted upon those who spoke against the Revolution.
Sacrificing culture, history and human life was deemed necessary for the
sake of an idea, the progression of the Socialist Revolution.
This Revolutionary Radicalism is a concept that maintained it prominence
with Radical Marxists throughout the twentieth century, happiness and
the notion of self is considered a remnant of bourgeois culture were to
be discarded; consequently, the needs of real people are forgotten in
the revolutionary zeal of Socialism.
Obama was born into a
family of radicals, was mentored
by revolutionary
Marxists, and befriended
radical Marxists; now, America is standing and wondering about the
true political character of
the undocumented enigma
holding the highest office in the land. In the spirit of Stalin,
the Ultimate Progressive Socialist, Obama has only appointed
undistinguished mediocrities and sycophants to his administration, this
emphasis on unremarkable talent serves to emphasize the meager talents
of Obama and insures that there will be no rising stars to divert
attention from the self-conscious Narcissist who desires to be adored
and worshiped by his subjects, documented by the appearances on the
mindless TV shows designed to perpetuate the myth of celebrity status.
Although presidents have a degree of celebrity status, there is a
difference between the celebrity status of presidents and the silly
American celebrity adoration of athletes, musicians, and Hollywood
types. For the first time in our history, we have a president
attempting to mix the natural respect towards the dignity and honor of
the office of the presidency with the classless worship of popular
celebrities by our lowest common denominator.
His vision for the
United States has included marginalizing the accomplishments of the
United States, during his international apology tours, Obama’s essential
message to the rest of the world was, "See how I have tamed the savage
beast, nothing is too difficult for the Obama." Of course in the
Plans for International Socialism, his Citizen of the World designation
that he has awarded himself and intends on granting to the population of
America, is merely a paragraph in his giant plan for International
Socialism and his hoped for position among the Ruling Elite of the
world.
Fruit Of The Poison Tree Of Socialism
John Hinderaker
reminds us that "By the fruit you know the tree" is the world's
wisest proverb; you could get through life reasonably well on that adage
if you didn't know much else. Which brings us to Communism,
perhaps the greatest of history's evils. (It would be interesting
to compare the ravages of Communism with, say, the bubonic plague.)
Via Ann Althouse, "Mao's 'Great Leap Forward' killed 45 million in four
years":
Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic
of China, qualifies as the greatest mass murderer in world history,
an expert who had unprecedented access to official Communist Party
archives said yesterday.
Speaking at The Independent
Woodstock Literary Festival, Frank Dikötter, a Hong Kong-based
historian, said he found that during the time that Mao was enforcing
the Great Leap Forward in 1958, in an effort to catch up with the
economy of the Western world, he was responsible for overseeing "one
of the worst catastrophes the world has ever known".
Mr Dikötter, who has been studying Chinese rural history from
1958 to 1962, when the nation was facing a famine, compared the
systematic torture, brutality, starvation and killing of Chinese
peasants to the Second World War in its magnitude. At least 45
million people were worked, starved or beaten to death in China over
these four years; the worldwide death toll of the Second World War
was 55 million.
War is a terrible thing, but the calculated,
sadistic cruelty of socialism is far worse:
His book, Mao's Great Famine; The Story of
China's Most Devastating Catastrophe, reveals that while this is a
part of history that has been "quite forgotten" in the official
memory of the People's Republic of China, there was a "staggering
degree of violence" that was, remarkably, carefully catalogued in
Public Security Bureau reports, which featured among the provincial
archives he studied. In them, he found that the members of the
rural farming communities were seen by the Party merely as "digits",
or a faceless workforce. For those who committed any acts of
disobedience, however minor, the punishments were huge.
State
retribution for tiny thefts, such as stealing a potato, even by a
child, would include being tied up and thrown into a pond; parents
were forced to bury their children alive or were doused in excrement
and urine, others were set alight, or had a nose or ear cut off.
One record shows how a man was branded with hot metal. People
were forced to work naked in the middle of winter; 80 per cent of
all the villagers in one region of a quarter of a million Chinese
were banned from the official canteen because they were too old or
ill to be effective workers, so were deliberately starved to death.
No wonder that, apart from certain journalists,
college professors, liberal politicians and other faux intellectuals,
the entire world has turned away from Marxism in a spasm of revulsion.
When you add in the Chinese, the Soviets,
the Pol-Pot Cambodians, Viet Cong, the North Koreans, and the Cubans and
Nicaraguans, and Africans, and the like -- communism must have been good
for 100 million dead in the 20th century.

says, O.K. You don’t really get to win anything. In the
advertising business, this is called "a teaser" or a well designed
deception. I could have made a promise to send you anywhere in the
country, (free round of golf included). Or, I could promise you
free health care. Perhaps a job would be worth your efforts.
Or, (in the spirit of hope and change), I could just list all the
promises Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the Democrats have falsely promised in
the past two years to get your cooperation / vote. But, then that
would be a "designed deception" wouldn’t it?
The real fact
is……this American economy sucks. The mainstream media won’t tell
you this, they’re too busy prostituting themselves by defending the very
economic policies that have plunged this nation into record generational
debt. Billions in under-funded entitlements, billions in bailouts,
and billions poured into the public jobs sector, (unions), yet we still
have unemployment running between 10% to 14% depending on which state
you live in. Housing foreclosures are about to explode again
because the powerful banking lobby got a pass on the financial reform
Democrats promised would rein in fraudulent practices. Wall Street
and the banking industry have reverted back to business as usual.
Did I mention the economy still sucks?
While taking a pass on
passing a real budget, and choosing NOT to vote on whether to extend the
Bush tax rate cut -- Democrats love tax hikes -- Nancy Pelosi, Harry
Reid, and the liberal progressives instead adjourned to go home and
campaign on something other than their "accomplishments". The Blue
Dog Democrats are even campaigning against the Speaker of the House, and
in some cases against the runaway federal spending which the White House
has advocated and embraced.
Which bring us back to the contest.
What’s the next "wag the dog" in the White House’s attempt to distract
us from the reality of a broken economy? In this past year, the
Obama administration tried inserting race relations into the debate,
including the false accusation that the Tea Party and their candidates
were racist thugs. That didn’t work. Further, they attempted
to inject immigration and token border security by suing the State of
Arizona for protecting themselves. This distraction didn’t work
either as national public opinion favored Arizona’s policies. Now
they are attacking private American businesses, (and the United States
Chamber of Commerce), apparently because of their support for Republican
candidates. This hasn’t worked either. So, what’s a failed
administration to do when forecasters are predicting a tsunami of change
back to the conservative principles of a smaller government and
responsible spending practices? You guessed it -- WAG THE DOG!
With fourteen days left for Barack Obama and the Democrats to keep
American’s minds off the state of the economy, (and their party without
any credible issue to campaign on), they just have to come up with one
more BIG DISTRACTION. What will it be? Clinton tried bombing
a few pill factories to take the nation’s mind off his indiscretions,
while his wife blamed the now infamous "right wing conspiracy".
Only a liberal progressive Democrat could promise you a reward for
coming up with another distraction or excuse for these failed policies.
Lord knows they’ve promised everything else, (at the taxpayer’s
expense), from free health care to discounted homes and cars.
Payoffs to their unions and lawyers has cost this country billions,
while this administration continues attacking private enterprises.
Obama and his bride are doing their best, (or worst), at demonizing the
evil Republicans and their Tea Party’s aim to reduce the size and scope
of government power. While the nation mires itself in historic
unemployment, and billions "invested"/wasted in the banks and Wall
Street, this economy will continue to falter. It’s only a matter
of time. But time has run out on this liberal social experiment.
Only a major distraction could keep motivated conservatives and
independents from reaching the polls to reverse this disastrous agenda.
I can’t think of how desperate Obama and the Democrats could get in the
next two weeks, or what they would come up with. All I can do is
promise to publish your entries here in the Greenroom. Unlike the
Democrats, it’s a promise that won’t bust the budget.

Obama Talked About Class War -- Now He’s
Got One
Terence P. Jeffrey says that anyone who
listened carefully to Barack Obama over the last two years could not
avoid hearing the rhetoric of a Marxist class warrior bent on dividing
Americans by their perceived economic status.
Obama -- who ought
to be a leader and inspiration for all Americans -- sought to motivate
his supporters with alleged class-based grievances. He talked up class
struggle and now has one -- if not exactly the one he envisioned.
There are only two sides in the domestic political conflict Obama
has sparked -- and they are not the relatively rich and the relatively
less rich in this still-remarkably affluent nation. They are not
defined by their material possessions but by their attitude toward
freedom. On one side are those who believe they are morally and
materially responsible for their own destiny -- and are glad to be so.
On the other side are those who believe the rest of us owe them
something and that government should take it from us and give to them.
This side is surrendering its freedom to government dependency.
In the future, America must follow either Obama’s Marxist vision or
return to the vision of ordered liberty embedded by our Founding Fathers
in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Tuesday’s election was only the first battle in what will surely be the
defining political struggle for Americans now alive.
"Look, the
bottom line is this: These guys, they just don’t want to give up on that
economic philosophy that they have been peddling for most of the last
decade," Obama said at a Labor Day campaign rally in Milwaukee.
"You know that philosophy: You cut taxes for millionaires and
billionaires. You cut all the rules and regulations for special
interests. And then you just cut working folks loose -- you cut
them loose to fend for themselves," Obama said.
"You remember
they called it the ownership society, but what it really boiled down to
was, if you couldn’t find a job, you couldn’t afford college, you were
born poor, your insurance company dropped you even though your kid was
sick, that you were on your own," said Obama. "Well, you know
what, that philosophy didn’t work out so well for middle-class families
all across America. It didn’t work out so well for our country,"
Obama said.
Obama repeated this essential point ad nauseam in the
2010 campaign season. His message in one sentence: The philosophy
that Americans should "fend for themselves" did not "work out so well
for our country."
To spread his gospel of government dependency,
Obama preaches gloom and despair: freedom and self-reliance does not
work, he is forever arguing. Give it up. In return, he
offers his would-be acolytes a free lunch: Government will pay for your
college education. Government will pay for your health care.
In reality, in the redistributionist America that Obama would build,
it would not be government that paid for anybody’s college education or
health care, it would be the other class of Americans -- those who
believe in freedom and self-reliance, who take care of themselves and
their own, who lead industrious and productive lives, and who value
freedom over security.
In Obama’s America, members of the
self-reliant class would have ever greater portions of their hard-earned
income and savings taxed away so redistributionist politicians could
give more to the dependent class, which they would continue to nurture
and build until there was no one left but the politicians and government
dependents -- in a bankrupt country.
The lesson of the 2010
campaign is that most Americans do not want more government in their
lives, they want less. They do not want handouts from Obama.
They want him and other politicians like him off their backs and out of
their wallets.
Obama Pledges Cooperation With Brazil's
Marxist Leader
Earlier this afternoon, President Obama
called Dilma Rousseff, President-elect of Brazil, to congratulate
her on her historic victory in yesterday’s election. He
commended the people of Brazil for their faith and commitment to
democracy. He also underscored the excellent working
relationship between the United States and Brazil, and his
commitment to deepening this cooperation and exploring new areas of
collaboration.
President Obama told President-elect Rousseff
that he looks forward to meeting with her soon, and working more
closely on areas such as clean energy, global growth, reconstruction
assistance for Haiti, collaborative development efforts, and other
issues of global importance.
Rouseff also spoke to Hugo Chavez of Venezuela,
leftist Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and Mexico's
Felipe Calderon, the same day.
Obama Lauds Communism's Successes
Maybe when the red flag is flying on the lunar surface the United
States will have a true Sputnik moment, the shocked realization that
while the rest of mankind is making giant leaps, Obama’s America can
manage only baby steps.
